iPhone 5 Technical Review

As on schedule, Apple launched iPhone 5 in india with featuring a faster processor, bigger display and many of other upgrades. Apple products always been a little pricier in indian market compared to top competitor, Pricing starts from 45,500 for 16GB model, 52,500 for 32GB model and 59,500 for 64GB model.


The new iPhone comes with bigger 4 inch display which is biggest of compared to earlier versions of iPhone, iPhone 5 has a dual core A6 processor which is one of the fastest compared to others.

Review : Nokia 808 PureView

Nokia has announced a new smartphone called the Nokia 808 PureView, The Nokia 808 PureView is a Nokia Belle OS powered smartphone with a 1.3 GHz processor, It features a 41 megapixel 1/1.2 sensor and a high resolution f/2.4 Zeiss all-aspherical 1-group lens, Images will be shot in 5 MP or 8MP resolutions and then using oversampling technology 7 pixels will be combined into 1 pure pixel. The 808 won the award for "Best Mobile Handset Device or Tablet" at Mobile World Congress 2012, This handset is now available in India for Rs. 29,999.

PureView camera specifications


Zoom: Zoom is digital but retains a high resolution due to the 41Mp sensor. The limit of the zoom is reached when the selected output resolution becomes the same as the input resolution. That means once the area of the sensor reaches 3072 x 1728, the zoom limit is reached.

Autofocus: PureView features auto focus in all shooting modes, close-up focus, Face detection, Touch focus with easy manually selected focus point and Hyperfocal distance focus for defined depth of field.

Video: PureView enables oversampling of all 38Mega-pixels even at the high video data rates of 1080p with 30 fps. Full HD 1080p gives 4x zoom 720p HD video, 6x zoom and for nHD 640p video, 12x zoom. In addition, encoding is up to 25Mbps in 1080p H.264/MPEG-4 HD video format.
